Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365 managed around the way your team actually works.

Q10 manages licensing, users, security, devices and backup around Microsoft 365 so the platform is not left as a collection of separate admin tasks.

What Q10 manages

The practical Microsoft 365 work that sits behind the apps.

Most businesses care less about the admin centre and more about whether people can work, access is correct and data can be recovered.

Users

Accounts and licensing

New starters, leavers, licence changes and access are managed as part of the support relationship.

Security

Identity and access

Multi-factor authentication, access controls and the important tenant settings are managed around the business rather than left at defaults.

Devices

Business computers and mobile access

Managed devices and mobile access can be tied into the same user, security and support process.

Backup

Independent Microsoft 365 backup

Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams data is backed up independently to Australian-hosted storage under the current managed plans.

Day-to-day administration

Changes should not become mini projects every time someone joins or leaves.

The ongoing service is designed to make routine Microsoft 365 changes part of the normal support process.

New startersAccounts, licences and agreed access are prepared before the person's first day where reasonable notice and the required information are provided.
LeaversAccounts can be disabled, active access revoked, licences adjusted and business data secured on instruction from the client.
Day-to-day supportYour team can contact Q10 for Microsoft 365 access, application and account issues without needing to find the right vendor or admin portal.
ChangesLarger migrations, major SharePoint changes and other project work are scoped separately before proceeding.
Microsoft 365 FAQ

Questions businesses usually ask about Microsoft 365 management.

The answers focus on what happens operationally, not on product-feature lists.

Are Microsoft 365 licences included in Q10 managed IT?

Yes. The current Essentials and Advanced managed plans include Microsoft 365 Business Premium licensing for managed computer users.

Can Q10 move us from another Microsoft 365 provider?

Yes. Q10 can take over the administration of an existing tenant and coordinate access with the outgoing provider. If a larger migration or tenant restructure is required, that work is scoped separately before changes are made.

How is our Microsoft 365 data backed up?

Under the current managed plans, Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams data is backed up independently to Australian-hosted storage. This is separate from Microsoft's built-in retention and recovery features.

What happens when someone leaves the business?

On the client's instruction, Q10 can disable the account, revoke active access, adjust licences and secure the user's business data. The exact offboarding steps depend on the user's role, device and the business's retention requirements.

Can frontline or field team members have Microsoft 365 without being full managed computer users?

Yes. People who mainly need business email and mobile or tablet access can be treated separately from full managed computer users under the current pricing model.

Do you manage SharePoint and Teams as well as email?

Yes, day-to-day Microsoft 365 support can include Exchange, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint within the agreed scope. Larger information architecture changes, migrations or major SharePoint projects may be quoted separately.

Can Q10 support Microsoft 365 on phones and tablets?

Yes, where mobile support or management is included in the agreed scope. The level of device management depends on the client requirements and how the device is being used.

That might be user support, access, licensing, security, backup or a change that has become harder to manage than it should be.
